On Thursday, March 8th, in Washington, DC. there will be a screening of Dead Donkeys Fear No Hyenas and a panel discussion featuring Anuradha Mittal, Executive Director of Oakland Institute, and Sasha Chavkin, a reporter for the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), moderated by Dr. Ararya Amsalu, president of Ethiopian Advocacy Network (EAN). There will be a discussion session inviting audience participation following the panelist remarks.

Dead Donkeys Fear No Hyenas is a documentary film which investigates land grabbing in the Gambella region of Western Ethiopia. It is a harrowing tale of human rights violations that go along with land grab practices impacting the overall lives of communities and individuals.
